About this Course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have the primary responsibility of engaging the customer, maintaining daily store operations and delivering on organisational expectations. They have sound knowledge of product and service offerings. These individuals possess a range of well-developed skills where discretion and judgement is required. They work with some independence under limited supervision. Some individuals working at this level are responsible for supervising other team members and monitoring day-to-day workplace operations.

Course Requirements

To study this course, participants will need:

A desire for working in retail
To commit to up to 25 hours per week online training and assessment
Motivation to study online
To participate in an enrolment session which includes assessment of suitability and LLN skills
To complete 75 hours of work place application of skills to assess the competency of the qualification (via suitable relevant employment, or a structured work placement activity)

Course Delivery

This course is delivered online via Status eLearning, and structured work place activities.

Course Duration

This course is designed to be completed in 26 weeks, based on a study load of 25 hours per week. The expiry date for this course will be 12 months after course commencement.

The total course cost for the Certificate III in Retail is $1475.00

There are no formal entry requirements however participants will require sufficient English skills to undertake the course/ perform the job role.

Should you not complete the entire course, a Statement of Attainment will be issued for all successfully completed units.
