Status Jobs Fairs

CaLD Jobs Fair

With the support of the City of Stirling Status in Western Australia have held two jobs fairs tailored for our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) job seekers. The events provided attendees an opportunity to link with local employment opportunities and engage with additional support services, with 66 exhibitors attending our inaugural event in 2019, and 67 exhibitors at our second event in 2021.

Open to job seekers across Western Australia as well as clients from our Skills for Education and Employment Program (SEE), over 2,000 job seekers have attended one of our CaLD Jobs Fairs attendees coming from as far North as Clarkson, and as far South as Rockingham and Mandurah.

Mooditj Jobs Expo

Following the success of our CaLD Jobs Fairs, in July 2021 Status in Western Australia partnered with Crown Perth’s Indigenous Employment Program to hold the Mooditj Jobs Expo. Held at Crown Perth, the expo provided Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers an opportunity to meet with over 80 exhibitors and find out more about career and training opportunities as well as connect with Indigenous support services.

The event was well attended by Status job seekers and clients from our Stepping Stones program, with over 750 job seekers attending across multiple sessions scheduled across the day, and was open to other providers and the general public.
