In our Workforce Australia Employability Skills Training we will help you to understand the local jobs market, develop job search and workplace skills, and gain industry specific skills, qualifications and licences. We also arrange industry awareness activities including tours of local businesses, employer presentations and training undertaken in our simulated work environments, giving you invaluable insights to help you gain and retain employment!
Status Employability Skills Training is focussed on local in demand industries, we will investigate career prospects, skill sets and training requirements necessary for entry level employment, including the acquisition of skills and micro-credentials delivered by our industry qualified trainers.
We will offer the following specialist programs;
Study the accredited unit CHCCCS015 Provide Individualised Support as we help facilitate applications for the necessary clearances required to commence work in the industry including a National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check and First Aid certificates
Study the accredited units BSBPEF101 Plan and prepare for work readiness and BSBOPS203 Deliver a service to customers, which will provide the skills needed to commence working in retail, hospitality, and clerical roles
Develop the foundational skills necessary to work safely and proficiently in construction as we assist you to obtain the licences and permits required to commence working including a construction Work Health and Safety "white card", forklift licences, and assistance to obtain a driver learner permit
Be introduced to a range of local employment opportunities, engaging with local employers and industry to gain an understanding of the different career prospects and entry requirements. Visit local workplaces and engage in industry awareness activities to gain a clear career goal and tailor your job search to this industry.
