The Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) specialisation is designed for clients who are
seeking to develop skills and knowledge to successfully perform business and administrative
operations across varied work environments including the provision of customer service.
Clients studying the customer engagement specialisation of the Certificate III in Business will
strengthen skills across the following areas:
Customer engagement, including customer complaints
Assisting with customer difficulties
Advising and selling products and services
Inclusive and sustainable work practices
Development of professional and accurate business documentation
Workplace health and safety, and personal wellbeing
This qualification provides pathways to employment in the following areas:
Customer Service Representative
Call Centre & Customer Service
Client Services Officer
Additionally, completion of the Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) will allow
clients to pursue further training in a range of business areas.
There are no formal entry requirements for the Certificate III in Business.
To study this course, you will need:
Access to a computer with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or an eligible device with Microsoft 365, and an internet connection.

This course is delivered entirely online via Status eLearning, and structured work place activities.
In South Australia voluntary weekly workshops are available to provide in person support with one of our industry trainers.
This course is designed to be completed in 26 weeks, based on a study load of 25 hours per week. The expiry date for this course will be 12 months after course commencement.

Should you not complete the entire course, a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of BSB30120 Certificate III in Business will be issued for all successfully completed units.
